Looking at your languge used here I would be not suprised that you got banned several times.
Also you said on previous page that you have been banned once and now you claiming several times....hmm.Somebody needs to clear out his mind.
You know. The admins on the servers has rights to do what they want.If they decided to ban you they have either reason to do it or they might be dumbass but does it really matter - NO.You got banned and end of story. Also using unpolite languge to admins trying to argue something doesnt help either.Dont rememberr when it could.
first of all I have had hard times to understand what you really mean by your posts.I think you have problems using you own language .
Secondly the 7300GS is NVIDIA card so you couldnt use it with 7.4 drivers(ATI drivers) as you claimed.
Why you have replaced your 7300GS with this ATI card?
How did you reinstall your windows?Did you format the C:drive and then installed Windows XP from scratch?
Seems the ATI 9500SE card have broken memory thats why you see flashing textures and text corrputed on your desktop.
Give me some more hints and then I will try to do my best to give you some advice/help.
320MB version is fine if you dont play in extra hi-resolution but I am not sure about upcoming games which might want more memory for textures and the performance might drop a lot. Also in feature games something like Crysis 256-320MB memory might descrease perfromance again.Sometimes its better to think further in future
Just example with frame drop 320MB vs. 640.One of the latest games and I think it will be not better ni future games but really depend on the engine how its wrote.
If I would buy new graphic card now I wouldnt got with less then 512MB ram but thats just my opinion.Well I live in more poor country so I am always thinking something must last a bit longer. If you can buy new card every year or 1.5 year then 320 version is definately fine.
pb3200 - congrats for new card.I know 320MB version is nowdays very cheap.Enjoy it
because 9800SE is like ATI9600XT.
9800SE is crippled to 4 pipleines instead of 9800pro/XT which had 8 pipes. Not a suprise.
Also I am sure you can get better performance after you will format the drive.
P4 3.0Ghz is not mega CPU.Something like A64 3400+ sempron in games.Maybe there the CPU is overheating so it throtling down to not overheat.P4 has been known for that very much.Check the thermal paste between the CPU and cooler and ensure there is enough ait flow in the case.
14th May its hardlaunch. So the cards will be at that date in the stores. There will be cards with custom collers which have bigger heatpies and low rpm cooler.Sapphire and HIS will have definately that version. The power draw should be around or between 8800GTS 640MB and 8800GTX.
8800GTS will be same loud at 2900XT.Just read the reviews on the 14th715th May and you can make quick decision then.
Regarding the 250GB HD from WD.I have the same one for storage and its really quiet. The 16MB cache with KS series helps a lot with performance.JS series have just 8MB cache.
Also I dont have good experience with Inno cards.Maybe it would be better to get the card from Tier 1 if you want to go with NVIDIA card.Tier 1 are for example Leadtek,XFX.If you want to go qo with ATI HIS,MSI,Sapphire.
wait 1 week.Doesnt make much sense now to buy 8800GTS 640MB if the new ATI HD2900XT should be at the same price and with better performance.NDA end at 14th May so at the time there will be a lot of reviews.
If you want some decent DX9 card buy ATI 1950 PRO.MSI has nice version with custom coller which is very quiet.I recomended this one to my friend who was buying his PC 2 month ago and he couldnt be happeir.Performance around 7950GT and its very, very quiet card.
where I have mentioned something about OEM?I must be blind
I am saying that ATI is trying to deliver bigger package. So these cards are more multimedia soluttion offering 3D graphics(probably better then 8500/8600 series),Video decoding including High definition videos + HDMI with included autdio controller so no need to hassle with another cable insiíde the case. That I mean about 2400/2600 series.
HD2900XT aka R600.Probably ATI was not able to be competive with 8800GTX so they decided to be competive with price and features.Well you cant tell as this card might crush NVIDIA cards at DX10 games. We will see during summer, autumn when will come Crysis,World of Conflict etc.
As I said top high end cards is not really lucrative part of the market. Its the midrange and OEM where the most revenue coming from.Yeh,now I said OEM .
Wait till 14th May and we will see if HD2900XT is really dissaster or not.I think everybody will be quite nice supriced:-)
And we need both company to be in business otherwise the prices would go up pretty quickly.
I think the ATI will be very competive against NVIDIA.The suggested price from HD2900XT should be 399MSRP.And things will go more interesting with with the crosfire kit only for 699MSRP.
2900XT should be a bit more faster then 8800GTS 640MB.
What you think, how much company like ATI or NVIDIA earn on the HD2900XTX or 8800GTX.Not much as there is not sold many of these cards and the revenue is very low.You have to consider that AMD bought ATI so they have now maybe different strategy.
Look at the Intel. They have C2D X6800 which runs at 2.93Ghz.We know that a lot of C2D can run 3.4-3.6Ghz.Why you think they dont release such a CPU to crush comepletly AMD.Because it doest make sense with such a low revenue.
The biggest revenue is in midrange which are cards like 8600GT/GTS and upcoming 2400/2600 cards. From the specification the ATI cards looks more promissin/faster then NVIDIA 8500GT/8600GT/GTS so thats place where ATI/AMD is aming mainly for. Also ATI is also preparing higher midrange card based on RV670 where 2600 is RV630.
Also R600 might be faster in DX10 games. We will see:-).Its not that clear as it looks and guess why now the 8800GTS pricing is falling down
I dont think it looks so bad for ATI(AMD).And no I am not ATI fan.
my m8 had exactly the same problem after he installed 1 game on his F: drive.
Since there wasnt any other software except few photos he moved the photos on another drivers uninstalled the game but he was still getting the same error.Checkdisk didnt help and it way very annoying at every boot.
We simply formated that drive again and the issue dissapeard.
I know some A64`s memory controllers doenst like combination of single sided+double sided memory running together. It was mainly with older revisoon of A64 for socket 939.
1.8V is standard(default) for DDR2.
Some DDR2 memory needs higher voltage to either support faster speed
(Mhz) or lower lattencies like CL4 for PC6400.
Dont worry,on this motherboard Voltage can be set for the Memory from 1.80V to 2.45V in 0.05V increments.
if you are smart enough you will not install everything under C: drive and then reinstalling the OS with software takes couple of hours. If you dont have many applications then its max 1 hours.Thats not so bad.
thats your ISP unless you have faulty network card. The standalone network cards are nowdays very, very cheap so you could try try one and if you would have still same issue then its definately your ISP.
I am still towards its your ISP making you troubles. The guys on the helpline usually dont know what they are talking about and if they knew something its just http or ftp port
